Los Angeles · Established 2012
Founded by Ali Rad in 2012, the studio brings architecture and interior design into one coordinated process. Our residential work ranges from substantial renovations to custom homes and interiors.
We are interested in the light in a kitchen, the step out to a terrace, the proportions of a room and the details you notice through daily use.
How we work
Your priorities shape the brief. We look at the spaces you need, how you spend time at home and what you want the project to change.
Plans, elevations and material selections give you a clear view of what is being proposed. They create a basis for discussion and help the wider team follow the design.
Architecture, lighting, cabinetry and finishes are developed in relation to one another. Sourcing and construction-phase consulting can carry that coordination beyond the design stages.
Process
Feasibility, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration — with interior design developing alongside the architecture from the start, so ceilings, lighting and cabinetry are designed together.
